Dusk and Polar Vortex, Hadley, Massachusetts, January 27, 2014

These dramatic skies were created by a polar vortex reaching into southern New England. The dark red color lasted only a few minutes then was gone. This photo taken with a Canon 1DX camera and wide-angle lens at 23 mm focal length.
